Ghazalla has been a life coach for since 2018 and has worked with a number of clients from various different backgrounds. Her own growth and confidence was borne from her coaching journey with Noorworks which led her to set up Evolve Initiative; a community organisation supporting young adults achieve their full potential. Her passion is to help people to connect with their inner wisdom to serve and give back to their own communities.

"I have been running Discovery Space for young adults since 2017. Each session brings an amazing energy and atmosphere every month. Young people from all walks of life, some extrovert, some introvert, some opinionated, some shy, come to this place to talk and listen to the conversations they want to have. Initially when I first started these sessions I had a fear no one would attend but now over 6 years on there has not been one session where we haven’t had over a dozen attendees. More spaces like these need to take place to bring people together.”

Andy is Health and Well Being life coach and facilitates a community discovery space at the Mill on Coppermill Lane in Walthamstow. This is a free space with no agenda, just the opportunity to talk in confidence.

"Hi, I am Andy, a health and wellness coach based in Waltham Forest. Having rheumatoid arthritis myself, I specialise in helping people with a chronic illness develop positive strategies to cope successfully with long term conditions. I am very much an advocate of the benefits of exercise, connecting with nature and having a healthy diet. I also run 1:1 cycle/life coaching sessions, where we free the body and mind, stop in natural surroundings and explore our thoughts. My background is in teaching, and I am also a writer.

Shazia is a Generative Coach who guides to align body, soul and mind.

"The space exists to explore self and to cultivate what participants need to better understand themselves and the world around them them. Running Discovery spaces is wonderful for creative playing and creative exploring. It’s medicine for the soul."

Nazra is a wellbeing life coach and storyteller who started her coaching journey in 2018. Her passion for empowering people and building communities through coaching and storytelling has opened doors for her to create transformative spaces in Sri Lanka and the UK.

“The Discovery Space, Colombo Sri Lanka started to take shape in 2019 by the beautiful Bolgoda Lake and seamlessly moved online in 2020, when there was a very strong need to hold space during the global pandemic. The change and growth I’ve witnessed and continue to witness in each individual has been tremendous. It’s beautiful and powerful to see layers being peeled off as community leaders and community ‘do-ers’ immerge – this is what continues to be my driving force to carry on doing the work where needed’.

Hinnah is a transformative coach who believes in creating the change she wishes to see in the community. She supports individuals to live the life they desire and her coaching style explores the inner world of clients and helps them align themselves to who they were created to be.

“I run monthly discovery spaces for people who have lost loved ones and create a non judgmental safe space of connection, enabling them to explore their emotions and share their stories of love and loss.

Having had both my parents leave this realm in 2023 and return ‘home’ I’ve learnt that there are no formulas for handling our grief process. We are all unique and we grieve in our own way. My way was to talk about my memories, my loss but I couldn’t find a safe space to share my feelings. Being a believer of change and following my calling of ‘bring the change you wish to see in the world’ I decided to create the space.”

Mahnaz began her coaching journey in 2003. An NLP Master Coach, Consultant and trainer, who has been teaching the art of coaching since 2015. An incredibly humbling and privileged journey witnessing people unlearn, learn and create meaningful lives and philanthropic initiatives.

“I have been running monthly Discovery Spaces as a way of giving back to my community. I began in 2017 in Walthamstow where I lived at the time and then moved to South Chingford where I started running them in a local community run library in South Chingford. This has now expanded to Highams Park. I have learnt a lot through hosting these spaces and ‘strangers’ have become ‘friends’. It has been wonderful to support my community in their lives and the group ends up supporting each other - with some ‘devils advocates’ too. The challenge to our thoughts has been insightful as people begin to connect to something deeper. It is a real privilege!”
